John Philipchuck

With over 12 years of commercial and residential real estate experience, John is Director of Research & Strategy, responsible for TH Real Estate’s research, investment strategy and product development for the Americas region. He is also a contributing member of the Americas Investment Committee.

Prior to joining the business in 2017, John was an Assistant Vice President at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital where he developed research to guide investment strategy for their portfolio of Education, Healthcare and Storage assets in the US and Europe. Prior to this, he led real estate research and strategy in the Americas region for GIC Real Estate, where he played an integral role in guiding GIC's global investment strategy, which spanned all property types, public and private equity and debt.

John earned his BS in Finance/Real Estate with a concentration in International Studies and a minor in Spanish from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. As a student, he founded the Collegiate Real Estate Conference designed to educate students about career paths in real estate. He sits on the Advisory Board at the Indiana University Center for Real Estate Studies and is a member of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF), Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Research Forum and Global Exchange Council.
