In Europe, our assets are predominantly located throughout France, Germany and the UK, where our specialist teams invest, manage and engineer our growing industrial portfolio. In Q3 2015, we launched a c.$400m pan-European logistics venture, comprising seven assets across France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. The c.6.5 million sq ft (c.600,000 sq m) portfolio includes Villabe in France, Straubing in Germany and Alovera in Spain.

We manage institutional quality industrial properties in all of the major distribution markets in the US. While the bulk of the properties are high bay distribution warehouses, we also own flex properties, and short-haul local distribution assets.

Pan-European Logistics Venture

In Q3 2015, we launched a c.$400m pan-European logistics venture, comprising seven assets across France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. The c.6.5 million sq ft (c.600,000 sq m) portfolio includes Villabe in France, Straubing in Germany and Alovera in Spain.  

The portfolio is being managed on behalf of CBRE Global Investors following a competitive bidding process for the assets which were sold down by two of TH Real Estate’s existing clients. In addition to full management of the portfolio, we will support CBRE Global Investors in an active investment programme to grow the portfolio over the coming years.

Peine, Peine

Logistics building in Peine, Germany

In 2013, on behalf of our German Logistics Fund (GLOF), we acquired a logistics building in Peine, Lower Saxony in Germany from property company Redevco. It represents the eighth acquisition for the Fund. The property, with a rental area of almost 60,000 sq m, consists of an existing building as well as an extension that is currently under construction. The facility contains 85 loading bays as well as 299 parking spaces. It is let to C&A Mode GmbH &Co. The German Logistics Fund is a partnership between our German Property Business and Palmira Capital Partner, a specialist in logistic real estate acting as Investment Advisor.
