Jun Han

With over 27 years of experience, Jun oversees risk management for the business. He chairs the Global Risk and Compliance Committee and is a voting member of the TH Real Estate Americas Investment Management Committee and Operating Committee.

Jun was the founder and former editor-in-chief of CMBS World (CRE Finance World), a professional publication for the CMBS industry. He is the recipient of the 2003 Commercial Mortgage Securities Association (CMSA) Founder’s Award, in recognition of his contributions to the development of the CMBS industry. Jun was also the former board member of CMSA and the American Real Estate Society. 


Jun has a PhD in Urban Studies and Real Estate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Master of City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley, and Bachelor of Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai. He is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF), Real Estate Research Institute Advisory Committee, Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and CRE Finance Council.
