Swindon Designer Outlet, is a 15-minute walk from Swindon train station, with a regular, 60 minute-long train service from London, and two miles from the M4 motorway linking London to the South West of England and Wales. With 250,000 sq ft (23,000 sq m) of retail space and 123 stores, the centre is one of the leading shopping destinations in South-West England. In 2015, it had a regeneration of the Long Shop building as part of a £40m investment to create an even greater offer for customers.
