The Cube

In December 2016, we agreed contracts to purchase the Cube, a 18,500 sq m (c.200,000 sq ft) development project in Berlin. The planned office building, due to complete in Q4 2019, will be an iconic prime office asset. The development is located between the Parliament Quarter and Hauptbahnhof Station, next to the River Spree. This is part of a long-term regeneration area called ‘Europacity’ and is one of the most important development areas in Berlin. The developer is CA Immo Deutschland GmbH, an Austrian-owned company with a significant track record in the development of office buildings across Germany. CA Immo has already developed approximately 395,000 sq m (c.4.3 million sq ft) of the Europacity. TH Real Estate’s experienced Development Management Services team will oversee the development.
